When should I link to my donation form instead of embedding it?
You can link to your donation form (instead of embedding it) if:
- You want the donation form to open up in a new tab so donors can better view the background image (e.g., in the case of a multi-step form).
- Your website is not mobile-optimized so you can’t embed your donation form. Learn how to tell if your website is mobile optimized.
- You already have a ‘Donate/Support/Give/ etc.’ button on your website that’s branded to your website that you’d like to use (i.e., instead of using the CanadaHelps button).
