Who Should Register Your Charity

An authorized signing officer must register your Charity’s Account with CanadaHelps. This can be any individual that has been appointed with the powers to commit your Charity to a binding agreement through an electronic signature.

Before you begin your Charity’s registration with CanadaHelps, please ensure that you have the following information readily available:

  1. Charity’s legal name and business number
  2. Charity’s online banking access (bank account number and password)
  3. Charity’s banking institution code
  4. Charity’s bank transit number
